Milion osób deklaruje, że nie korzysta z publicznej ochrony zdrowia. Przerzucili się na prywatne lecznice. Wcale to nie dziwi, jeżeli przypomnieć chociażby ostatni chaos i bałagan wywołany wejściem w życie ustawy refundacyjnej. Poza tym ile razy można udowadniać, że nie jest się wielbłądem i że regularnie opłaca się składki zdrowotne.

Rząd zapewnia, że już niedługo lekarz sprawdzi online, czy chory ma prawo do nieodpłatnego leczenia. Pytanie tylko, jak to zrobi. Bo niestety może się okazać, że byle jak. Tak się może stać, skoro nie ma nawet zgody co do liczby osób, które nie są w ogóle ubezpieczone w NFZ. Minister zdrowia twierdzi, że jest ich ok. 268 tys. Natomiast w Centralnym Wykazie Ubezpieczonych w rubryce „nieubezpieczony” widnieje ponad 800 tys. osób.
Minister Michał Boni zapowiada, że od września każda rejestracja w placówce zdrowia będzie miała dostęp do Centralnego Wykazu Ubezpieczonych za pośrednictwem specjalnego portalu. Nie mówi jednak, co z pacjentami gabinetów np. na wsiach czy w małych miejscowościach, gdzie lekarze nie mają nawet komputera, nie mówiąc już o dostępie do internetu. Nie wiadomo również, kiedy każdy ubezpieczony w NFZ dostanie elektroniczną kartę, która to potwierdzi. Funkcję taką miały pełnić nowe dowody biometryczne. Tyle że nie wiadomo, kiedy one w końcu zaczną działać. Ich start był przekładany już kilkakrotnie.
Zapowiedzi rządu przynajmniej na razie wyglądają jak próby ratowania twarzy, a nie wprowadzenia przemyślanej koncepcji. To zły sygnał, bo po raz kolejny będziemy mogli się przekonać, że sprawy zamiatane pod dywan kiedyś spod niego wyjdą. Potwierdzi się również inne stwierdzenie, że prowizorka bardzo często jest najtrwalszym rozwiązaniem.
